United Pumps Australia was founded in 1984 and has been manufacturing engineered API 610 rated pumps for well over 30 years; drawing on the heritage and experience of predecessors pump brands; Indeng Pumps, IEL Pumps, Johnston Pumps and Harland Engineering Australia. Our heritage brand models and designs can be traced back to 1886. While the company’s major focus is on the manufacture and service of centrifugal pumps compliant to API 610, UPA offers a full range of services including engineering, research and design, testing, repair and spare part manufacture.
The UNITED pump brand is widely recognised world wide, and is well known for its rugged heavy duty design, reliable service and its API 610 conformance. It was first manufactured in Australia under license in 1960.
The company specialises in the manufacture of centrifugal pumps for hydrocarbon services, flammable and toxic liquids and high pressure and high temperature applications. API 610 pumps are used in a wide variety of industries, including the oil refinery process, offshore oil platforms, pipelines, gas processing plants, chemical and petrochemical plants, power generation and boiler feed water applications.
Many of the United Pumps products can also be applicable to many other pumping applications such as general water pumping, mine dewatering and processing, fire protection and industrial process applications as well as rural and agricultural uses that do not require the higher specified API 610 designs.
